Welcome back to Wellness Wednesday! My plan for this week was to write about whether meditation can improve wellness, but I went down the research “rabbit hole” and found waayyy too much information to get through it all in time. I will write the post, but in the meantime I thought I would share some Mindfulness quotes with you.
According to Jon Kabat-Zinn, a leading expert on mindfulness, “Mindfulness is awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgmentally.” I would add that it’s noticing and appreciating your life, having compassion for yourself and others, and realizing that we are a part of something much bigger than ourselves.
