Happy Friday everyone! I hope you’ve all had a stellar week and are ready for the weekend!

A huge thank you to all of you who shared your favorite way to get some exercise last week! If you missed everyone’s answers you can check them out here.

For this week, inquiring minds want to know…..

What’s your favorite quote?

I know it may be hard to narrow it down to just one favorite, but what’s the one quote that sticks in your mind the most, the one that keeps you going when things get tough, motivates you, or gives you peace when you’re anxious? Of course, you’re welcome to share more than one if you’d like.

As always, I appreciate your willingness to share, and I appreciate YOU! Have a wonderful weekend!

  1. Happy Friday Terri. I have quite a few favourite quotes but this one spoke to me today” We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are all just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love… and then we return home.” Australian Aboriginal Proverb.

    1. Thanks for sharing V.J.! I knew someone was going to call me on this….😄 It’s hard to pick a favorite, but one that keeps me moving forward is, “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” Lao Tzu Have a great weekend!

  2. Oooo I have so many favourite quotes, I’m not sure I could pick just one… I love what Helen Keller said about beauty in the world : “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart.” ♥

I also like the Jimmy Dean one, which seems appropriate today after my pain management session earlier :  “I can’t change the direction of the wind, but I can adjust my sails to always reach my destination.”

    What’s your favourite, Terri?
    Caz xx

    1. Thank you for sharing Caz! V.J. asked me for my favorite too, and as I told her, it’s hard to choose just one.😊 One of my favorites is “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results.” I can’t remember who said it; I’ll have to check it out. It reminds me to remain open to change and new ideas. Hope your pain management session went well for you, and that you have a lovely weekend. Hugs!🤗

      1. That is a good one! The general idea with that quote (not sure if it’s right or not) is that Einstein said it. It’s one I like too, even though I often fall into the trap of repetitive behaviour while hoping for different results myself!

  3. I always love your “What’s your favorite” posts! It is great reading others answers! I have few favorite quotes but I won’t share all of them! One of my favorite quotes is “Shoot for the moon, even if you don’t make it, you are still in the stars.” My Grandfather shared this with me before I was going to the Miss VT Teen Pageant. The other is “Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain.” I hope you have a lovely weekend Terri!!!

  4. The first quote that pops into my head at the moment is this: “We are not human beings on a spiritual journey, we are spiritual beings on a human journey.” ~Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

      1. No need to be sorry for being nice sweet friend! I appreciate you thinking of me! I don’t have anything on my blog that says it’s award-free — I reckon I need to put something on there.😊 Hope you have a wonderful week!

Please tell me what you think!
