Happy Friday everyone! It’s time to share your favorites again!

Many thanks to all of you who shared your favorite healthy snack last week! I got lots of new ideas for snacks. If you didn’t have a chance to see everyone’s ideas last week, please check them out here.

Here in the U.S., next Thursday is Thanksgiving and typically the start of the hustle and bustle of the holiday season. With that in mind, here’s your question for this week….

What’s your favorite tip for reducing stress during the holidays?

Please share your ideas with us! I’m sure we could all use a little less stress during these busy times.




  1. Try, try, try to stay focused on the purpose of the holiday. Like thanksgiving. Another blogger mentioned that we should try and thank everyone to celebrate thanksgiving. I like this. It is so easy for me to get stressed about what bothers me about the holidays. But I am thankful for time with my family.

  2. I had to learn that you can’t please everyone. I tried for years to make it to at least three to four family events/houses in one day. A couple of years ago there was a terrible ice storm and we were not able to make it to my in laws. They got upset. After that I said, it’s about my immediate family and kids only. It’s been blissful since.

    1. I hope I can remember this in a couple of weeks when we host our neighborhood Christmas party Brigid. We love hosting it each year, but I stress myself out wanting to make sure everything goes perfectly. This year I’m going to try to just relax and enjoy it. Thanks for sharing some great advice!

If this is in terms of Christmas, I’d say to make lists (I use so many lists and post-its anyway that it doubles over Christmas) – by breaking things down into more manageable chunks and not forgetting things, you’ll feel that bit more in control and organised, rather than confuddled with everything that needs doing. x

    1. You sound like me! I live on lists, especially through the holidays. I also plan out my month choosing just one or two things that need to be done so as you said, I can break things down into manageable chunks. Thanks for sharing!
